It took you to the Add/Remove League tool, which was formerly known as the "League Manager" tool and it still says that at the top of the page. If you use that tool, it removes the Diamond membership and places a Gold there temporarily. It is so that you can change the leagues that are registered to your Diamond.

If, however, you want to withdraw from a league, then there is no need to use this tool first. As long as you've moved your LadderBux, you can then just use the withdraw link without removing the Diamond first.
