How long can MultiDay Tournaments last?

I'm hosting a true swiss multiday, 9 rounds. However, our ladder's site went through some changes and we had some down time .. I'm in the 8th round now but afraid that the tournament might disappear before it's completed. I've noticed in looking back, that it shows 0 tournaments for the majority of the days in August, making it look like in a week that Sept 1 will have 0 tourneys, mine having started that day. Hopefully we will finish by that day, but it made me wonder how long a multiday can remain open before the loses it; or will the note that it is still open and running and therefore not purge it?
