We have some exciting news to share with you today! The following announcement went live on the Hoyle Online game site this morning. We are very excited about this new partnership, and hope you will be as well!
Dear Hoyle Online Game players,
We are pleased to announce a new partnership between VU Games and Case's Ladder to provide enhanced services to the Hoyle Online Game community.
Case's Ladder will be managing the Hoyle Online Game community in the very near future. This includes customer support, event and chat lobby management, maintaining the servers and web site.
Case's Ladder is an online gaming solutions provider with expertise in managing online communities - including providing gaming leagues and tournaments to over six million users. Over the following weeks and months Cases and VUG will be doing many things behind the scenes to improve the quality of service for Hoyle Online Game users. We want to assure you that every decision or change that we make will have the best interest of the players and community in mind.
Our first step will be to become active in the Hoyle Online Game forum, as it stands today. We consider your feedback and input on the direction you would like to see us take in the Hoyle community is very important to us. We have been doing this for a long time, and we know that in order to be successful in any venture it is important to listen to our customers as much as possible. So watch for us in the forums, and be ready to share your thoughts!
Next, we will begin the technical process of migrating the technology that powers Hoyle Online Game to our own hosting facility. This may involve some small amount of downtime when the time comes, but will ultimately lead to a better gaming experience for you. Once the transition has been completed, our staff will be able to monitor the servers 24 hours a day, including an automated paging to alert our programmers if there are problems. This should result in an improved response and correction time, which again, means a better gaming experience for the players.
This partnership will also allow us to directly integrate Cases Ladders and Tournaments, as well as MyLeagues, official events, and more. We do realize that other ladder and tournament sites do play on Hoyle. We want to reassure those players that they have nothing to worry about. All players and community groups will be welcome and encouraged to play at Hoyle Online Game. No leagues will be banned or kicked off of the site.
Please visit us in the Hoyle Online Game Forums if you have further questions, where we will be actively seeking your input and feedback. We are very much looking forward to starting this adventure with you in the coming days.
Thanks very much for your patience and continued support of Hoyle Online Games!
