Hello everyone,
I hope all of your are having a great 2007 so far. We have really
appreciated all of the patience and support we have received from the
users over the last several months. I wanted to post up some of our
plans for 2007 to give you an idea of what's in store at Case's
Ladder.
I'm thrilled to report that we have tripled our prize fund! You'll
be seeing many cooler items coming online in the next couple months.
We are also restarting our raffle program with some really great
prizes to kick things off. I'm talking flat screen televisions,
Dell laptops, and more. We're going to blow the socks off our prizes
in 2007 with over $100,000 in prizes. No other gaming league site
can match that.
Plus, we have heard some of your requests for even faster servers.
That's why we will be upgrading our data center. We're stripping out
everything and putting in all new fresh high end equipment. This will
be happening in the next several weeks - stay tuned for details. We
will have some short downtime but the benefits will be worth it. As
you know, we have dozens and dozens of servers at Case's Ladder so
this will be a lot of work for our staff. We are spending over
$200,000 on our new data center so we are prepared for some of the
great things we have planned later this year (sorry, can't tell just
yet on this!).
The last big surprise we have is a site redesign. We're working with
a team of professionals to come up with a great new look for the
MyLeague.com site and admin tools. We're very excited about this, as
it will enable us to add many new features that we just have not been
able to do. This is going to take us a little time, but expect to
see something up during the springtime. The rest of the site will
get enhanced over the rest of the year. We don't want to change
everything at once -- we will let you get used to the smaller changes
first. We'd love to hear any suggestions you have on this in our
forums.
By the way, February is our 11th year online. Thanks very much for
enjoying our site for so long. We do appreciate you playing here
and we look forward to a great 2007!
