Well first off if you wanna merge with another league you must 1st decide which League will be kept and which 1 will be deleted. Also you must decide who will be the Head Admin of it. (You could possibly make the HA of the 1 being deleted a Co-HA.)
Next you must tell the players on BOTH ladders what is going on and give the ones on the deleted ladder a chance to join the new league. You must give them time to join and move any bux they have if a Premium member on deleted ladder.
1 thing you could do is ask the players for their input on which ladder to keep and which to delete. The TD's and HTD's on both should be given a chance as well to voice their thoughts and the ones on the deleted ladder given a chance to become TD's and HTD's on the new ladder. They of course will lose all their TD stats and will need to start over with tourney counts.
You could also post this question in the Peer to Peer forum on your Head Admin link and ask for input from there. They may be more helpful than anything there.
