I was just wondering what the philosophy was behind cases setting up the assimilation(merger) process and not being able to transfer td stats

I can understand not being able to transfer bux unless a platinum or diamond however
Player stats can be transferred from one league to another when 2 leagues join.
The current of assimilations works ok when you have a big league taking over say a newer smaller one
but it is my argument
that when two leagues of an equal size merge then the TD stats of both groups of Td's should be kept as it was the effort of BOTH groups of td's that made the two leagues desirable for each other to consider merging.
When two leagues merge for reasons of creating a bigger better entity they do so hopeing that the staff as well as the membership is incresed.

The current seems to me to be anti-merge as it provides no incentive for one group of td's to remain in their role and thus the
merged entity doesnt really obtain any real benefit.
In fact the td if they wanted could go anywhere if they had to start again rather than accept the choice of their HA.
I know stats aren't the be all and end all but if you have several thousand under your belt then you dont really want to have to start
training all over again especially when some people have incurred no loss at all which is how the current works.

Merged entities can provide benefits to cases financially as with a bigger new entity-

-more trny's are likely to be hosted thus making the attraction of premium memberships more attractive.

-more players are likely to remain in the cases rather than being lost once their league has been merged and deleted.

I've never been able to understand the logic in the current merge(assimilation) process and would be greatly surprised if anyone could explain WHY it is so.
