Formal challenge question

i have a question about how to report a loss in a formal challenge, I had issued 1 and played my opponent on the game site, then how do i report to cases, i just reported a loss like u would do a normal challenge , is there anything else u can do?? When i look at my stats page and my opponents stats page, i look under challenges there the win-loss is not recorded, Can some1 please explain to me briefly how to complete a formal challenge?Also I'm a td in one league but did the formal challenge in another.
